The 2021 Virtual Run for Woods Program

The 2021 Virtual Run for Woods allows you to participate and support our fundraising event by choosing your own course, distance, and fitness activity. Same as in years past, we welcome all efforts to run, walk or roll.

We invite you to join us in support of the event at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, for the virtual program by tuning in to our website at runforwoods.org.

Throughout the event, we encourage you to share your participation photos and videos with family & friends through social media using #R4W.

At Woods, we believe every person deserves comprehensive and innovative health care, education, workforce, and therapeutic services, which we provide to more than 650 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and complex behavior and medical needs. Our clients are among the most vulnerable to COVID-19 and need your support more than ever.  Your participation provides safety, comfort, and hope in the uncertain days ahead.

The fundraising goal is $200,000 for Woods Services’ programs, which can help to –

    • Provide technology making virtual learning and therapeutics possible.
    • Maintain a safe way for families to reunite with their loved ones on Woods’ campus.
    • Offer residents daily outdoor recreational activities that provide fresh air and exercise while observing pandemic safety protocols.

Your participation supports our efforts to keep Woods’ residents healthy and engaged. We know that with your support of the Run for Woods, we can offer HOPE to our residents, their families, and our staff. Together, we will take our programs to the next level to ensure that children and adults with disabilities achieve their highest potential and quality of life.
