Help Build A New Home For
Congregation Simchat HaLev

A new home with more space, more programming, and most importantly the capability to celebrate, learn, pray, and do things together as a Jewish community. At the request of a few families, in 2003, Congregation Simchat HaLev was created. Today, our synagogue is a spiritual home for around one hundred families. After sixteen years at our current location, Rabbi Jay and Rabbi Jenn and a group of amazing congregants believe it is time that we take the next step in securing a new spiritual home, one with parking and more space.

A NEW HOME WILL ALLOW US
TO BE TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE

Shabbat, Holidays, & B-Mitzvahs
with seating and parking for all.

Space for Kiddush, Oneg & Shmoozing.

Yoga, Meditation & Adult Workshops
during Hebrew School.

Enhanced Learning and Fun for All Ages.

Wine tastings, Cooking Demos
Holiday Parties and Social Gatherings

Passover Seders, Purim & Chanukah Parties.

Volunteer Opportunities.

Your assistance will allow us to build a new synagogue,
a spiritual home that you will be proud to call your own.

About Congregation Simchat HaLev

Fueled by love. Simchat HaLev is a welcoming, inclusive and nurturing congregation; a sacred community traveling the journey of life. Small with intention, we are a family; a house of prayer and learning, infused with tradition. Working hard to diminish hatred, bullying, pain, and suffering; committed to adding love, caring, and kindness; learning from and embracing the diversity of ALL people created in G-d's image. Walking the path with our congregants by providing Judaism that is Jewish Renewal - accessible, engaging, G-d centered and spiritually based. We are active in the interfaith world, working with other faith communities of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam to eradicate hate through teaching, demonstrating and spreading kindness. Community outreach - prayer with action.

Simchat HaLev was founded by Rabbi Jay Weinstein in 2003. On November 5, 2003, the State of New York granted 501(c)(3) status exclusively for religious purposes, including establishing and maintaining a synagogue for religious worship and prayer in accordance with the customs of the Jewish religion; conducting and maintaining services for divine worship and religious observance in accordance to the customs of the Jewish religion; and establishing a school for Hebrew and religious education.
