Hôpital Convention Baptiste d'Haïti (HCBH) is a leading healthcare facility in Quartier Morin, Haiti, and a key partner of Konbit Sante. It was founded in 2007 by Dr. Paul Toussaint, a former Konbit Sante staff member. It is the only facility with a spinal cord injury rehabilitation unit in northern Haiti.

The hospital is on the nation’s electric power grid, which is prone to outages and often causes electrical fires. Backup power is provided by gas-powered generators that are dependent on fuel, which is often affected by supply shortages.

This project will kick-start a solar panel project that will help HCBH become totally off-grid and less dependent on fossil fuel. Our goal is to raise $100,000 for the first critical phase. Your donation will impact the lives of many patients and help ensure that HCBH is able to provide care without frequent interruptions and fires caused by power issues.
