Andrew VanGorder

Andrew’s fascination with cars started at a very young age as he was always wanting to help wash the car, help fix the car, go to races, car shows anything that had to do with cars. During his adolescent years he became enthralled with Video games of driving cars, although it seemed he like designing the cars to be super good looking and superfast. Andrew and I would have conversations regarding what to do after High School and he mentioned many times that he would like to pursue a career in the Automotive field. Unfortunately, Andrew entered the world of drug use and subsequently became addicted to opioids and passed away from an accidental overdose of Fentanyl on February 1, 2020 at the age of 22 years old. Andrew had a heart of gold and was the kind of person who would do anything for others. Therefore, we have created this scholarship to provide help to someone who is trying to achieve the dream that Andrew never realized, a career in the Automotive field. Please contribute to support this scholarship so someone else can realize their dream.

Thank You,
David VanGorder (Andrew’s Dad)
