The Department of Homeland Security has recognized transportation technicians as “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers.” Many of our transportation tech students are already working in the field as they pursue their academic credentials.
As the COVID-19 crisis takes its toll on everyday normalcy, the vehicles that deliver our supplies, stock our stores, and get our doctors and nurses to work are holding our country together. And the students and technicians that we support are the people who keep those vehicles rolling.
Students need our help more than ever.
That’s why your support is so important. The tech shortage is real, and many of the students who will be the techs of tomorrow are losing their employment and struggling to stay in school during this crisis. TechForce is receiving a significant increase in student requests for support. Your donation helps support these students and their technical education – and fills a critical need. Annually, TechForce supports hundreds of students with grants that help with food, rent, transportation and other critical needs. We expect demand to more than double in light of current events.
TechForce is a 501(c)(3) charity and your contribution is 100% tax deductible.
