The Teddy Bedrossian Ski-A-Thon is a skiing, boarding, and tubing event that supports Elwyn, an organization dedicated to providing transformative, compassionate care to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as physical, medical, emotional, and behavioral health challenges.
The Ski-A-Thon will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Blue Mountain Resort. Registration includes an event t-shirt, VIP lift ticket, discounted rentals, and admittance to the continental breakfast, luncheon and awards ceremony. Prizes are awarded to those with the most funds raised and the most number of sponsors! Please note that this event is dependent on the length of the ski season.
Why Participate in the Ski-A-Thon? The Ski-A-Thon was founded in memory of Teddy Bedrossian, a former student at Elwyn’s Davidson School. Unable to talk or hear, Teddy brought an indescribable richness to those he met through acts of kindness and his contagious smile. Although Teddy passed away in 2007, he touched the lives of many while at Elwyn. The proceeds from this event continue to enrich the lives of individuals at Elwyn today, in Teddy's memory.
How do I participate? You can register to ski, snowboard, or tube as an individual or as part of a team.
