Tim was a 1983 graduate of Brookhaven Academy, and went on to attend Mississippi State University where he was a bull rider on the Rodeo Team. He graduated from MSU with a bachelor’s degree in animal science, and went on to become a longtime local poultry and cattle farmer. Married to his wife, Glenda for almost 30 years, he and his family also owned and operated Cypress Landing Restaurant in Summit, MS. He served on the board of directors for First South Farm Credit for several years, and was a very active member of CrossFit McComb, where he loved his CrossFit family. An avid outdoorsman, Tim leaves to his 4 children and countless friends and business associates a rural lifestyle legacy that encompassed everything the outdoors and farm life has to offer. A member of First Baptist Church Summit, MS, he recently began officiating MAIS football games, where he left even more indelible influences. His graduating class of 1983 asks that you join them in permanently honoring Tim’s legacy by contributing to a charity with which he strongly identified and loved. Let us help make outdoor dreams come true in his honor and memory.
