Community Resource Center helps the hungry, homeless and hurting in North County San Diego, providing a domestic violence shelter and prevention outreach, professional counseling, food and nutrition distribution center, homelessness prevention and rental and housing assistance.
As each week starts during this pandemic, we review priority spending areas to ensure we are meeting our community’s needs. These priorities include providing safe shelter and resources to victims of domestic violence; distributing food; providing flex funds to help with food, gas and other immediate needs; homelessness prevention and intervention.
We’ve been moved and inspired by the incredible generosity of our community. We are grateful for everything you’ve given – financial gifts, food, cleaning items, face masks and gloves. It is heartening to know we are working together to take care of our community’s vulnerable neighbors.
CRC needs to be here for our community now, but also in the future. The recovery of our economy is going to take a long time, and we can't count on government funding to support our programs. With your help, we can continue to provide food, prevent homelessness and provide safe housing for domestic violence survivors.
Give if you can ... give what you can. Your support now means we'll be here for our neighbors in the coming months.
Thank you for all the ways in which you support CRC and our community.
