About Community Resource Center:

Community Resource Center helps the hungry, homeless and hurting in North County San Diego, providing a domestic violence shelter and prevention outreach, professional counseling, food and nutrition distribution center, homelessness prevention and rental and housing assistance.

Community Resource Center helps those in need avoid hunger with a food distribution center and nutrition classes. CRC's Food and Nutrition Center offers participants a dignified shopping experience where they can select their own food staples, along with fresh food. • Volunteer food centerWeekly Food Assistance*: Individuals and families can shop in our Food & Nutrition Center and choose items they need. This program is available to seniors, individuals who are unable to work because of a disability, individuals affected by domestic violence, and participants who are working with an Integrative Services Case Manager to gain self-sufficiency.
  • USDA Commodities Program: USDA food distributed daily; one monthly allotment per family, eligibility based on income.
