A school library is more than stacks of books and a place to be quiet.
It can be a great equalizer; giving access to learning resources and unlocking possibilities for every student.
Recently, Woodland Hills School District transitioned Wilkins Elementary to a PK – 5th grade STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math) Academy. To be successful, the students need a modern, more tech-friendly library environment – one that encourages learning, creativity and collaboration.
You can make an enormous impact on the success of Wilkins STEAM Academy students. Even a small contribution of $10, $15 or $25 can help us reach these critical, but attainable upgrades:
$5,000 Total = Refreshed, inviting physical space
$10,000 Total = + New learning stations
$15,000 Total = + Technical upgrades including learning boards and tablets
So get on board with the PUMP Tag Team and build STEAM for the students at Wilkins.
