A global pandemic means that people are in need close to home and around the world. Disciples want to help.
Week of Compassion has been working with partners to help those in need, through responses primarily focused on food security. You and your congregation can support these local and global ministries that are meeting needs and changing lives. In working together with partners, we represent the Disciples of Christ commitment to unity, making our resources reach farther and growing our impact on a global scale. As the needs from this pandemic continue to grow, we invite you to "Grow Your Compassion."
When you give to the COVID-19 Relief fund, 100% of your donation goes to provide assistance for people affected by this pandemic. During this crisis, Week of Compassion continues to respond to other disasters as well-- from the storm in Iowa and fires in California, to the explosion in Beirut. Our many partners are incorporating COVID-19 considerations as they respond to needs, so COVID-19 response is integrated into the breadth of our work. In each of these disasters, we help meet immediate, critical needs in spite of the tremendous obstacles of this time.
Together, our impact can reach from our own neighborhoods around the world: feeding our neighbors, empowering local communities, and planting seeds of hope.
