Every Dollar Counts
$25 will help the gallery purchase necessary exhibition materials such as painting supplies, hardware, and printing materials.
$100 will fund a student gallery attendant for a week. Our student workers gain valuable experience working with exhibiting artists, learning how to handle and install artwork, and interacting with the public as gallery docents.
$500 will fund an honorarium for a visiting artist. Public lectures, class visits, and artist-led workshops provide important opportunities for students to learn first-hand from working artists.
$1,000 to $1,500 will make YOU an exhibition sponsor! Support the gallery’s ongoing mission to bring cutting-edge contemporary art to the North State.

Jacki Headley embodied the essence of what it is to be creative. Her life illustrated what it means to develop and give one’s talent for the betterment of society. She began her career as a teenager designing and making dresses, and went on to found Woof & Poof, a successful business in partnership with her husband Graham that grew over 35 years. In 1982, Jacki and Graham opened “Made in Chico.” Jacki was deeply committed to the Chico community and became involved in multiple organizations and causes, believing in the importance of improving the quality of life in her community. She received her BA in art at Chico State in 1973, and a teaching credential the following year. In 2008 she received the Distinguished Alumna award for the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. After Jacki passed away Graham wished to inspire others and continue Jacki’s vision, sense, of innovation, and her creative expression at Chico State and decided to establish her legacy on campus by naming the Jacki Headley University Art Gallery.
