The Nica HOPE Project of Fabretto Children’s Foundation provides education, vocational training, and alternative income-generation opportunities to youth from the community in and around the Managua city trash dump. Prior to 2011, children in the community worked alongside their families in the dump. Today, these families live in the surrounding Acahualinca neighborhood or in Villa Guadalupe, the new community established in 2011 for former residents of dump. This area remains one of the most vulnerable communities in all of Nicaragua, and students still frequently drop out of school to support their families through informal labor, earning just a few dollars a day. The Nica HOPE project currently supports over 2,000 children and youth through five key program areas that empower them to reach a better future. Please consider supporting the Nica HOPE project of Fabretto Children’s Foundation to make a difference for children in need in Nicaragua.

Fabretto Children's Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization empowering underserved children and their families in Nicaragua to reach their full potential, improve their livelihoods, and take advantage of economic opportunity through education and nutrition.
