    Run for Recovery 5K is going virtual!

    Due to COVID-19 we have made the decision to transition the Run for Recovery to a virtual event. When you Run for Recovery and support
    Search for Change, Run 4 Recovery and Drug Crisis in Our Backyard
    you are celebrating recovery and raising awareness for people who are recovering from substance use and mental health conditions.
    RUN or WALK 5K anytime during September "National Recovery Month" 
    Join our Run for Recovery Facebook page or email us at [email protected]
    to share a selfie or video of you running/walking.
    Don't forget to include your time!

     

    Adults: $40

    Children (17 and under): $20

     

    Register by August 10th to receive a free t-shirt.

    All participants will receive a medal and electronic (printable) bib!

    FAQ's

    Where do I do my virtual run or walk? 
    This is a virtual event so you make your own route. It can be around your neighborhood, your favorite trail/park, or even on a treadmill. Total flexibility, it's up to you! 

    How do I post my results?
    Post your results on our Run for Recovery Facebook Page!
     Remember to share your location and experience if you'd like to! 

    Can I split up my event into multiple run/walks? 
    You can split your distance into multiple days but please make ONLY ONE post with all your splits into the Facebook group to avoid excess.

    Do I need a particular timing app/device? 
    No particular device/app is required as long as you are able to track your run or walk. If your app/device stops working during your run you can write in an estimate of what your time is in our Facebook group. Your Garmin/Fitbit devices and MapMyRun/Strava are all great sources to track your time! If you do not have a device we'd love to see pictures of you and your swag with an estimated time or just that you completed your virtual event!
