Class of 1995

“Lights, Camera, Action!” was a great way to describe the class of 1995. Jennifer Tobin was elected as Homecoming Queen, Allie Neill got her palm read at the senior trip to the Renaissance Festival, and the football team won the State Championship. “Damn Yankees” was performed and the seniors beat the juniors 18-14 in the Powder Puff game. Last year the class of 1995 had 2 donors. This year our goal for the class of 1995 is to reach 22 donors.

Class of 1996

Boys soccer won their first state championship with football, girls basketball and wrestling all winning titles as well. Justin Tobin and Ali Kiselis won Prom King and Queen while Chrissy Hopkins won Homecoming Queen. Li’l Abner was the musical and was performed to perfection. Last year the class of 1996 had 4 donors. Our goal for this year is to reach 27 donors.

Chris Girard and Marcus Sais played the guitar at the senior retreat, Heather Neumann and Joanna Bloom enjoyed their trip to Sea World, and “Anything Goes” was the musical performance in 1997. Jamey May and Heather Kelly were voted Mr. and Ms. BLHS. Girls basketball, wrestling, boys golf, and boys soccer all won state championships. Last year the class of 1997 had 3 donors. This year our goal for the class of 1997 is to have 27 donors.

1998 started off strong during freshman camp when seniors Nick Pacillo and Kyle Williams hurled raw eggs off the roof. It also ended on a high note during senior lock-in when Tyson Thelien sang with Sadiee Mahoney, Mia Young, and Kathleen Jansen. Last year the class of 1998 had 9 donors. Class of 1999 was the last class of the 1900s and they did not disappoint. They performed “Mame” which is also what the Blackfriars are performing this year. The girl’s basketball team continued their dominance and won their 11th straight state championship. Last year the class of 1999 had four donors. The class of 2000 had a great senior year! The boy's soccer team won state, the hockey team did very well in their first year, and the Lady Friars Basketball team had an undefeated season and won state. What started with AJ Lacsamana and Rachele Carver Piazza dancing at Senior Retreat to Cullen Shaar speaking at Baccalaureate mass, what a year it was for the class of 2002. Getting to renew the rivalry between Jesuit and BL, this class got to experience Roffino Stadium with over 10,000 people in it. Volleyball won its first state title in school history while wresting, girls basketball, and girls cross country all won state titles. From Friar Week to Graduation, what a year it was for the class of 2013. The football team debuted new jersey’s and the Friar logo in the homecoming game, the senior football team did a choreographed dance taught by the cheerleaders during a pep rally, and prom was at the Perot Museum where Jacqueline Dupuis and Darrell Forest won queen and king.
