The Do Gud Collective x CASA of Los Angeles
The Do Gud Collective aims to foster a community of passionate individuals in support of those who have experienced the foster system. We are fundraising for CASA of Los Angeles in support of their continuing work to advocate for children and families in LA County’s overburdened child welfare and juvenile justice systems. I'm inviting friends like you to support my campaign. Thanks for taking a moment to check it out!
The Do Gud lapathon will be held virtually, meaning that all you need to participate is a cell phone and a few friends to help support your run or walk. You can use the Nike Run Club app, Strava, or any other fitness tracker or app to record your run. You can then share that data with your donors so that they know how much to contribute. We ask that you find 10 donors to donate a set amount per mile or, if they prefer, a flat rate either before or after your run. Please direct your donors to the same page that you signed up for the run on, or send them this link: https://app.mobilecause.com/vf/DoGud
100% of all proceeds will be going directly to CASA/LA. We would greatly appreciate it if you could share our cause on your social media before or after your run. You can post photos, stories, or even live stream your lapathon, however you want to get the message out there is up to you, get as creative as you want!
We will be performing the lapathon from May 28th to May 31st, meaning you can do your run or walk whenever you’d like within that time frame. Keep an eye out for future updates on the lapathon and our cause, especially as we get closer to that starting line! We wish you all the best during your lapathon and wholeheartedly thank you for the support that you’ve shown to the foster children of LA.
