The “FYI” Johnson Scholars program provides on-going support for FSU student members, who have experienced and/or aged out of foster care. Information Security and Intelligence Alliance We are an Academic Registered Student Organization (RSO) that is dedicated to creating a safe space for learning and professional development! We have three main meeting types. We have fun events like Pizza and Games, competitions like our own Capture the Flags (CTF) and conferences like MWC3, and lastly, our Distinguished Guest Speaker Series. Here we invite industry professionals to speak to us about lessons they have learned throughout their careers so that we can apply that knowledge to our own lives. Lastly, we are raising funds to support the growth and education of our community. We want to continue to go on field trips where we can see real-life applications of information security. That and we are going to doing events to educate the public on their personal security. We will do this through seminars and information tables. We need some help to achieve this. The purpose of the Thumb Eleven Scholarship Fund is to provide a bridge between eleven greater thumb communities of Michigan and Ferris State University. Welcome to Ferris State Baja Racing! We are a club at Ferris State that includes members from multiple different programs including Automotive, Welding, manufacturing, and many more. We build an off-road vehicle entirely from scratch. We start with designing the car on solid works, bending, cutting, and welding tubing to create a frame and fabricating and assembling engine, transmission, and suspension components. We race schools all across the country in off-road endurance races and compete in multiple events each year. This club allows students to learn hands-on skills and important engineering principles, while also learning great teamwork and communication skills. We are looking for donations to help us further our club and allow for more students to be able to be involved and attend races. We are also in need of new rims and tires for the four-wheel drive SAE baja vehicle build. Thank you for your consideration in donating to our club!

Thank you for your generous support for the Plastics Engineering Technology program at Ferris State University. Our program is dedicated to providing students and faculty with invaluable opportunities for hands-on learning and professional development. Funds raised through this campaign will be used to fund student and faculty travel for field trips and plastics industry conferences. Dr Gunder Myran was instrumental in developing the DCCL program in 2009 and a founding member of the DCCL program’s National Advisory Board. He remains an active member of the Board and a strong supporter of our work. The Marliss and Gunder Myran scholarship, named after Dr Myran and his late wife, has supported DCCL students’ academic work for many years.

Studying abroad can be a life changing experience that deeply affects how an individual views the world and their future career. Students who study abroad obtain cross communication skills, gain new skills, network and connect for future employment, and learn more about themselves and the world around them. They then bring those new skills and perspectives back to the campus classroom and provide diverse perspectives. This fund will provide funding opportunities for students going to study abroad and looking to earn academic credit in the world classroom!

For many years, Theatre at Ferris State University has been an opportunity for students from many programs to come together and create memorable performances. Participating in these plays helps students develop communication skills, gives them experience in group projects and management, and is an opportunity to work with peers outside of their programs. It helps students strengthen the skills and confidence they will need in their future endeavors. It also builds lifetime friendships. Every year, approximately 200-300 students are directly involved in all aspects of our productions. We are proud of all of the shows that we have managed to create over the years. Many outstanding Theatre alums have succeeded in their variety of jobs including computer programming and design and as state troopers, nurses, doctors, professors, teachers and more. Support MoSO Today! Since opening in 2015, the MoSO (Museum of Sexist Objects), has done important work to raise awareness about the many, often insidious, ways that sexism operates not only in American society, but the world over. We are proud of our recent LGBTQ+ and Masculinity cases and look forward to building two new exhibits on Period Shaming and the Pink Tax. Both are student inspired. Our biggest event this year was our collaboration with the Ferris Fine Art Gallery to present an exhibit called "Much Ado about Barbie." It received extensive press coverage and involved collaboration with both Kendall College and Piper Adonya, the creator of "Black Barbie" graphics. The MoSO Barbies we displayed were purchased with your generous contributions. Thank you for your support over the years!

Here are some highlights of the BILC over the past year: The BILC supported 17 process improvement experiential projects for student teams in 2022/2023 and 10 process improvement experiential projects for student teams in 2023/2024. The BILC co-sponsored two events: Internships 101, and the Bulldogs Mean Business - Nolan Transportation Group. The BILC also sponsored the Menlo Innovations Virtual factory tour. Last year the 1D4Dawgs OSM Program fundraiser helped support 11 students with obtaining their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Your gift also sponsored six students to attend this year’s 2024 Midwest Supply Chain Management Conference in Grand Rapids, MI. During the 2022/2023 year, our student teams completed 8 process improvement experiential projects. This year the student teams will complete 10 process improvement experiential projects with community and industry partners. A gift of any amount will directly impact our OSM students by providing them continued opportunities to engage in process improvement experiential learning with community partners, pursue professional certifications, and attend future conferences. Dr Robert Ewigleben was president of Ferris State College from 1971-1984. After his retirement, Dr Ewigleben continued working in education, including being the leader of the feasibility study into creating the DCCL program. His support of the program was continued through the work of his children: Lynne Hernandez helped develop the curriculum and student support areas; Bob Ewigleben graduated with Cohort 1.

Formula Electric is Ferris University's newest student race team. The club aims at providing practical knowledge for students of all majors to carry into the workforce. Emphasis is placed on design, modeling, engineering, and electrical systems. Formula Electric is open for any students who wish to gain experience in engineering or racing.
