Eventually a variety of students enrolled in summer BIOL courses like BIOL 442, Ecology and BIOL 121 and 122, General Biology I and II observed egg-laying, incubation, hatching, and chick feeding behavior. To our surprise, the images reached out to more than just students enrolled in BIOL courses. It did more than bring the Osprey into our classrooms. It brought them into our lives. Recent repairs have all but emptied our account and we need funds to purchase a new camera and hookups and to pay outside contractors for a lift to gain access to the setup. The Osprey Web Cam Project is a true collaboration including people from Facilities, Welding, IT, and Biology.
